Mechanical Pushes With Hands Are Adequate For Heart Patients For Survival!

Heart patient collapses suddenly due to breathlessness. Under this condition, cardiopulmonary resuscitation is resorted to by doctors wherein the heart pumping is reactivated with mechanical pushes to the chest and mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. American Researchers have now found that it is adequate to just press on the chest without the mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. What is more important is mechanical activation of heart by forcing some blood and oxygen to the brain and other vital organs to sustain important functions of the body.

This revelation is welcome news for all good Samaritans and passers-by who are most willing to advocate simple mechanical pushes to the chest skipping mouth-to-mouth action. People do have reservation to attempt mouth-to-mouth as they feel it is complicated and messy.

Studies reveal survival rate as high as 12% if CPR is administered at the right time by bystanders without any hesitation and the inevitable delay.

Folks, please make a note of this piece of information and go ahead with mechanical pushes for such heart problems in future.
